Contest entry for 
's "Reaching For Olympus Mythology" Contest
The myth I was inspired on was the myth about Cerberus, Hades' guard dog. Cerberus' guards the underworld , he sees too that the dead souls remain in the underworld and that no mortals ever set foot in the world of the dead. This dog has three heads and a snake for tail.
Hades seems to like his pet. I used one of my favorite dog types as reference for this picture
